How to Make a Claridge Cocktail

This unique little gem is a favourite of ours. It could be considered a distant variation on a classic martini – with the additions of apricot brandy and orange liqueurs. Some recipes may call for ‘brandy’, but it’s the sweeter apricot liqueur that’s key here, and Marionette has saved the day with its Apricot Brandy Liqueur.

 

Served in – Coupé glass

Garnish – Lemon twist

 

Ingredients

  • 20ml Gin (We Suggest Never Never Triple Juniper Gin)

  • 10ml Marionette Apricot Brandy Liqueur

  • 10ml Marionette Curacao

  • 20ml Dry Vermouth (We Suggest NV Dolin Vermouth Dry)

  • 1 Lemon Peel

 

Method

  1. Add all liquid ingredients to your cocktail tin and fill with ice, then stir to chill

  2. Strain the contents into your glass

  3. Twist lemon peel over the cocktail, then pop it in the cocktail to garnish
