How to Make a Marrickville Martini

Continuing the tradition of naming classic cocktail variations after the suburb or borough in which deliciously audacious spirits are crafted, the makers of Poor Toms Sydney Dry Gin have coined the Marrickville Martini from their distillery in Marrickville, Sydney. The Lillet Blanc draws out the freshness of the apple notes in the gin, while a splash of Aperol lifts the light, sweet berry elements. Dig in!

Serve in – Coupe Glass

Garnish – Lemon Twist

Ingredients

  • 60ml Dry Gin (We suggest Poor Tom’s Sydney Dry Gin)

  • 15ml Lillet Blanc

  • 5ml Aperol

  • Lemon Twist to Garnish

Method

  1. Add all liquid ingredients to your mixing glass

  2. Fill mixing glass with ice

  3. Stir until diluted and chilled to your satisfaction (being sure to taste test along the way)

  4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass

  5. Twist lemon peel over your drink to express the oils of the peel, then add to glass to garnish
