How to Make an Apricot Sour Cocktail
This little gem is a favourite of ours, and comes recommended by Marionette themselves. As you might expect, the apricot liqueur is key here. That’s apricot brandy, to be exact, and Marionette has saved the day with its Apricot Brandy Liqueur.
Served in — old fashioned glass
Garnish — Maraschino cherry or fresh apricot slice
Ingredients
20ml Marionette Apricot Brandy Liqueur
40ml Bourbon (We suggest Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky)
25ml Lemon Juice
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
10ml Sugar Syrup
15ml Egg White
Maraschino Cherry or Fresh Apricot Slice to garnish
Method
Add all ingredients to your cocktail tin or mixing glass and shake well without ice (this is called a Dry Shake)
Add ice and shake again vigorously
Strain contents into glass
Garnish with a cherry or fresh apricot slice
